Shanghai Yuelong New Materials Co., Ltd. a leading rare earth and phosphor company of China, was founded in 1999, invested by Yuelong Non-Ferrous Metals Ltd., Shanghai Silicon Materials Factory, Shanghai Industry Investment(Group) Ltd., Hongkong Cheerglory Trading and Non-ferrous Metals Institute of Shanghai.

The predecessor of Shanghai Yuelong New Materials Co., Ltd. ,formerly known as YueLong Chemical Plant, was built in 1960 in the northern suburb of Shanghai. Occupying an area of 160,000 sq. meters with a total number of workers and staffs 0f 900, it was well known as the earliest and separation of the rare earths, offering a fairly complete coverage of various high purity rare earth products as well as high tech and value added rare earth application products such as phosphors and permanent magnets. YueLong is supported by a strong team of over 120 well trained technical personnel distributed in various production, research, development and management departments. YueLong's production covers: various rare earth oxides, tri-chromatic lamp phosphors, CRT phosphors, magnetic materials. Over 50% of its products is being exported to Europe, U.S.A, Japan, South-Korea and other countries in the south-east Asia.

In August 1995, YueLong received approbation for its implementation of ISO 9002 quality assurance system and thus became the first rare earth and phosphor producer in China that has been awarded with an ISO 9002 Certificate.
Our company has built up the production line since the 1st half of 2011, in order to produce the series products of LED-YAG in quantity.
